Hydrotherapy is an ideal way to provide relief from pain and stiffness often
caused by conditions such as hip dysplasia, spinal injuries and conditions, CDRM, OCD, osteoarthiritis, pre and post cruciate surgery and stroke.
Fully trained staff who operate within the pool itself.
Our pool is an ideal size for working with all types of breeds. We have water jets which can increase resistance and also an overhead hoist to help those patients into the pool who are unable to get in safely themselves via the ramp.
In addition to our hydrotherapy pool we have an aquatic treadmill or water walker.
This new addition to the service allows us to offer a wider range of therapy. This is still water based but with the addition of the treadmill will help develop muscle tone faster and improve the placement and gait of the affected limbs on patients that require this level of therapy. The level of the water used depends on the condition being treated and at what stage in their recovery they are at. This would be worked out on an individual basis to suit the patient's needs.
